Oh 850, we will miss you

This is the last picture taken sitting on a used car lot. Our beloved Volvo 850 has moved on. She was made Sweden 17 years ago. That was 1994. She became part of our family in 2002, right as we were leaving Seattle for Portland. 91/2 years later, with 131k miles, she was looking a little rough around the edges. But she was well cared for, and should be on the road till 250 easily. Our 850 took us honeymooning to British Columbia, on numerous camping and hiking adventures, and was the first car Adi rode in with seatbelts!
Some vital stats:
Purchased at 78K for $10k
Sold at 131K for $2700
52k miles with us, approx 5700 miles / year
Maintenance and repairs: $5200, about $550 / yr.

No complaints there. I think we're feeling better about the deal because her replacement is exactly the same color, and essentially the old girl reincarnate, but on some serious steroids. I can say I won't ever miss having to put chains on again.
