Best Whiskey Bar in Osaka- BAR AUGUSTA

What does a top notch whiskey master look like in Japan? Please regard my friend in the smart vest. What does an $80 shot of whiskey look like? Please regard the 1974 French sherry cask conditioned Laphroaig. (image @ 5 second exposure). Next question- was it worth it? Answer- Yes. Bottle 192 of 910 was indeed outstanding. If you notice one on the market, please pick it up (about $2000).

Flavor Profile: We arrived at a consensus of "loved baseball mitt plus old train station" which translates to: oiled leather, distressed wood, and diesel soot.
Flavor Savor: A full 30 seconds

$80 a pop! Adi's milk must have been downgraded to Cash-n-Carry's 1% in order to balance that HIGHLIFE budget for February. Yet, priceless!

Yeah, I'd probably have to spring 80,000,000 yen for a dram of that. Sometimes I don't really appreciate those really long-aged Scotches, but I love Laphroaig so much that I'd have to try it.

The Laphroaig 18 they're currently selling is fabulous. Now that you've spent $80 on one glass, you'll be happy to pay that much for a bottle.
