Before this turns into full time baby blog...some more man type stuff to report. 2 weeks ago, huge group turned out at PIR to watch the XC race. Tons of people, tons of racers, and tons of free beer. Almost free after a $3 pint glass purchase. So 92nd out of 120 or so. Not pleased, and I'm blaming my fork (60%) and some poor bike handling skills (30%) on downhill slopes, and slow uphill running through the mud (10%). Went down several times, locked wheels with some chump and I went down, man that will be the last time. Next time its him or both of us. I feel like one of those Wi characters: Paul O- Agility 2, Speed 4, Power 2, Endurance 5. I need a special power or secret move.
Weird, preggo lady looks odd without a beer in her hand. :P
On the plus side, some nice pics, great group of friends and munchkins out at the race, still a good time. The hunt is on for a XC fork for the bike, then I'll only have poor bike handling skills to blame. This is what about 5lbs. of mud on a road fork looks like. I had to stop and get off the bike, as riding along while trying to swat the mud away was worthless. New fork is on the bike with extra clearance. Always use the right tool for the job right? I hear Kruger Farm is flat and less challenging....

I hear that blaming bike parts is a common strategy for actual looser, d - nozzles.
